Local Activities

Swimming in the Sound (we do it!) is for the brave or those with wet suits, but there are two boats, one double kayak and one canoe, available for use by visitors.

Boating trips to nearby Anderson and Eagle Islands where one can go clamming, crabbing, camping, and exploring can be arranged.

Penrose State Park is a twenty-minute drive away and the local roads are pleasant walking and biking areas.

There are also two bicycles available for use.
